Chili is one of my favorite home cooked meals. It is easy to make and filling. Chili has a great source of protein, fiber and vitamins all in one bowl. That makes cleaning up easier. 

Beans are a great and healthy source of vegetable protein. Garbanzo beans (and other legumes) are filled with fiber. Two cups provide the entire Daily Value!

Joy's Broccoli Salad is a Complete Athlete Favorite. It is always a picnic hit and a great snack. Plus the addittional benefits of broccoli make it even better. Some research indicates that broccoli contains cancer fighting, immune boosting properties. In addition the antioxidant vitamin C in broccoli, when eaten in its natural form, can help to fight skin damage caused by the sun and pollution.

At Complete Athlete we love spaghetti squash. It is typically available year-round in most grocery stores. Adding it to your menu will bring several health benefits including vitamins minerals and fiber.
